Project Solidarity Senegal 98

We support the “Project Solidarity Senegal 98”

In 1998, Heidi and Thomas Polzin founded a school in Mont Roland in Senegal in West Africa and are wholeheartedly committed to this project until 2021. They arrange school sponsorships so that children from the village and the surrounding area can go to school. The school is a private Christian school that accepts children of all religions. There are currently 461 pupils in the elementary school and 64 children in the Mont Roland kindergarten.

To ensure that the school can continue to be supported after the retirement of Heidi and Thomas Polzin, the association Baobab e.V. has agreed to support the long-standing educational project in Mont Roland, in addition to its own initiatives in Senegal.

You can find more information under the following link:

All funds from school sponsorships that are transferred to the donation account are forwarded to the school without deduction.

Every year, members of the association visit the facilities in Senegal, see for themselves how the donations are being used and pass on this information accordingly.

The project “SOLIDARITY Senegal 98” is based on the motto:

»Education is the best help against hunger and for the further development of a country.«

“Yalla rekk a lay fay” means ”God gives back much more”
